Vintage oversized coat with leopard fur collar (Chic Machine, Paris), Maje pleated dress, Tara Jarmon cardigan (underneath), Ebay platform ankle boots, Louis Vuitton Speedy bag, Banana Republic ring, Primark midi rings
There is no better place like home. Paris, I love you! Funny how I appreciate it more since I live in London, even the Champs-Elysees look amazing while I used to avoid it like the plague back in the day (and my house is very close). The pictures were taken by my lovely Maman after a heavy brunch at Miss Kō, formerly known as Le Bound and Barfly, entirely decorated by Philip Stark. The food is really good think Europe meets Japan kind of a place and on Sunday there is a Korean DJ-ette who spins some very funky music. Anyway you should check it out if you are in town!
A quick note on the coat: an amazing find from my favorite vintage place in Paris called Chic Machine in Montmartre. The trend for autumn/winter was oversized coats but somehow they just didn’t really fit in the shops, I felt they gave me a rather strange body shape. Ironically this coat is actually 4 sizes above mine but it works. Not sure if it made me look like a little girl wearing her mum’s clothes but I was definitely very comfortable in it.
